possuem conhecimentos sobre o vento. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">A praia, o mar, as pipas, as montanhas e os temporais nos for\u00e7aram a analisar esse poderoso elemento da natureza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Ele pode ser suave ou destruidor conforme mostram as fotos acima.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">A pot\u00eancia e\u00f3lica \u00e9 proporcional ao cubo da velocidade do vento, conforme o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Muito antes da gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia el\u00e9trica, o vento foi a for\u00e7a motriz das embarca\u00e7\u00f5es e, por isso, os marinheiros de antigamente desenvolveram muito conhecimento sobre este elemento da natureza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">No s\u00e9culo XIX, Sir Francis Beaufort, desenvolveu uma Mede-se a componente horizontal com relativa facilidade, mas a vertical n\u00e3o. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Na verdade, representa-se a velocidade do vento por um vetor tridimensional composto por flutua\u00e7\u00f5es espa\u00e7o temporais sobrepostas no tempo sobre as componentes de larga escala<span id='easy-footnote-1-40703' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href=\"https:\/\/www.antonioguilherme.web.br.com\/blog\/geracao-de-energia-eletrica\/eolica\/analise-do-vento\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-40703\" title=\" World Meteorolgical Organization\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Todas as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antonioguilherme.web.br.com\/blog\/geracao-de-energia-eletrica\/eolica\/turbina-eolica-2\/\">turbinas e\u00f3licas<\/a> funcionam baseadas no vento horizontal, mas a componente vertical afeta o dimensionamento estrutural da turbina.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id='an\u00e1lise-do-vento'  id=\"boomdevs_8\">An\u00e1lise do Vento<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">A Figura 1 mostra a velocidade m\u00e9dia hor\u00e1ria do vento horizontal de uma semana na cidade de Natal disponibilizados pelo Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia do Minist\u00e9rio da Agricultura entre 1\/8\/2008 e 7\/8\/2008. Observa-se uma volatilidade maior do que a observada nas vaz\u00f5es dos rios e a periodicidade di\u00e1ria.
